Kalplex

Scheduled collectionEarly access

When a pay-later order is placed, Kalplex schedules its debit, tells the shopper what's coming and collects it on the day — no invoice runs, no reminders by hand.

  1. 01

    Order placed

Kalplex records the order amount and reference against the shopper's mandate.

  2. 02

    Pre-notification sent

The shopper receives the amount, the debit date and your creditor details in advance.

  3. 03

    Debit submitted

The payment is submitted to the shopper's bank to arrive on the scheduled date.

  4. 04

    Confirmed and paid out

Once collected, GoCardless pays the money out to your bank account.

30

Default debit day

Collection is set to 30 days after delivery by default — you can choose an earlier day.

50

Legal ceiling for SMEs

Merchant-run deferred payment must be paid within 50 days of delivery to stay outside CCD2.

Directive (EU) 2023/2225, Art. 2(2)(h)

14

Ceiling for large online merchants

Large (non-SME) online merchants must collect within 14 days of delivery.

Directive (EU) 2023/2225, Art. 2(2)(h)

Change before submission

Reduce or cancel a debit after a return or partial refund, before it reaches the bank.

Your schedule, within limits

Pick the debit day that suits your delivery times; Kalplex won't let it exceed the legal limit.

Recurring when you need it

Use the same mandate for monthly or yearly plans on subscription products.
