Kalplex

Netherlands

Dutch shoppers pay with iDEAL or afterwards. Kalplex gives you a merchant-run “pay within 30 days” option collected by SEPA Core, under your own Incassant ID.

Pay after delivery, kept

Keep the option shoppers expect without a third party in between.

Next to iDEAL

Offer pay later alongside iDEAL, so shoppers can choose now or later.

Automatic incasso

The debit runs on the date you set — no payment reminders by hand.

Do I need a licence to offer pay later in the Netherlands?
Merchant-run deferred payment that is interest-free, fee-free and paid within 50 days of delivery (14 for large online merchants) is excluded from CCD2. National implementations differ, so take local legal advice before launch.
How do I get a SEPA creditor identifier?
Dutch creditor identifiers (Incassant ID) are requested through your bank as part of setting up SEPA Direct Debit.
Who carries the risk if a shopper doesn't pay?
You do, as you already do with a plain invoice. Kalplex reduces it with risk rules, automatic debits and dunning, but never buys the receivable.
Can shoppers still get their money back?
Yes. Under SEPA Core, payers can ask their bank to refund an authorised debit within 8 weeks. Kalplex picks up the return and follows up.

Create your account, connect GoCardless and switch on pay later in your own checkout.
